font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">In April 2020, Home Grown and its members created the Home-Based Child Care (HBCC) Emergency Fund with $1.2 million in funding to catalyze the development of regional funds that provide direct financial support to home-based child care providers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>To deploy funding, we partnered with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/homegrownchildcare.org\/emergency-fund\/\">13 regional organizations<\/a>\u00a0that designed and administered local emergency funds<br \/>while securing an additional $1.2 million in matching funds.\u00a0<\/p><p>We are thankful for the partnership of these organizations and funders and their commitment to home-based child care.<\/p><p>From May\u2013August 2020 Home Grown gathered data\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">via an online survey of FCC providers and FFN care<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">givers who received emergency funding.\u00a0<\/span><b><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family );\">We invite you to view our preliminary data on the impact of our<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family );\">\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family );
